Types of Dental Veneers

There are three main types of veneers. These include no prep veneers where minimal or no preparation of the teeth is carried out. The second type of veneers are composite veneers which can either be lab made or directly shaped onto the teeth by your dentist. This is commonly known as Cosmetic Bonding and can require little or no tooth preparation. The third type of veneers are the more traditional Porcelain veneers. These require some preparation of the tooth surface and are ideal for major shape and colour changes. These are glued directly onto the prepared surface.
