What can I expect when I arrive at Viva Dental Studio?
First things first: a warm welcome!
This will start when we contact you to prior to the appointment to confirm your attendance.
When you enter the building, it is our reception staff’s priority to ensure that you feel as comfortable as possible, because we know that not everyone finds it easy to attend a dental appointment.
They can also answer most questions you may have, prior to meeting with your dentist.
Our reception area has been specifically designed to promote a calm and relaxed atmosphere; thus we have comfy seating, lots of space; and a choice of hot and cold drinks available.
What if this is my first appointment at Viva Dental Studio?
To guarantee that we have a comprehensive record of your details and medical conditions, we will ask you to complete the following documents:
· A Medical History Questionnaire
· A Dental Questionnaire
In addition, we will need:
· Your GP Details
· Emergency Contact Details
· Your Contact Preferences, in line with GDPR Compliance.
Meeting the Dentist
Our principal dentist, Dr Parminder Battu, will see you for your first appointment, be it for general dental treatment or cosmetic dentistry.
The dental examination will not start until you have fully discussed with Dr Battu your reason for attending; any concerns you might have about your teeth or potential treatments; and your expectations regarding the outcome of any prescribed treatments.
Only when you are happy that you have explained what you hope to achieve from the appointment will the dental examination begin.
This will be a thorough assessment of your teeth, gums and your general oral health.
If it is felt appropriate, x-rays will be taken at this appointment.
With your consent, we will take ‘before’ pictures, in order to note the impact of any relevant treatment.
The ‘after’ pictures are always a joy!
What happens if I want to receive treatment?
Should the initial consultation result in a prescribed course of treatment, a full dental treatment plan will be drawn up.
This plan will contain:
· A detailed description of recommended treatment
· The charge applicable for each element of the treatment
· The overall cost for the treatment program

We can offer a range of finance options to our patients, as we want our treatments to be as affordable and financially manageable as possible. To facilitate this, we offer 0% interest free finance, which can be spread over several months.
