Your Invisalign aligners must be kept safe and protected from damage. They should be kept in the aligner cases that are provided. In this video we explain how the aligners should be cared for.
Caring for your Invisalign aligners video trasncript:
Parminder: “Okay, so, Melissa, how do they feel?”
Melissa: “They feel fine, absolutely fine.”
Parminder: “Okay, so one thing that we always need to mention is you need to wear them for at least 22 hours a day. The main thing with invisalign is that small constant, steady force that changes the position of the teeth and gets them straight. So what we do give you is we give you two liner cases – you’ve got the red and you’ve got the blue. So when you go out, go out to eat, to a restaurant or if you need to just take them out for lunch, make sure you keep them in your liner cases. The blue is the active aligner which you are using every day, the red one is the previous aligner which you stopped wearing. Now, sometimes you might need to go back to the previous aligner so make sure you always keep them in the red case but the one that always travels alongside you is the blue aligner case.”
So now you know what you would need to do to care for your Invisalign alingers!
